We toured this facility on Saturday 05/11/24 after driving from Columbus, Ohio to Virginia just to see these homes and it was very informative. Our tour guide “Ruth Hurban” was very knowledgeable and showed us how the modular/doublewide homes are built from beginning to delivery. I didn’t think that I would enjoy learning about how a modular/doublewide home was built but it was a pretty interesting experience. Being able to see the models was very exciting and beautifully decorated! If you’re thinking about one of these homes I would recommend going on the tour and checking out the models that they have on the property.

I took a tour of the factory on Oct. 21 and have been working with Jeremiah for several weeks now. I cannot say enough postive about both he and his manager Quentin. They have been incredibly patient, thorough, and respectful in working with me. Rather than trying to get me to go over budget they have helped me stay under budget and actually helped me find additional cost savings (doors, windows, etc). Such honesty from them has earned my respect. I've dealt with a few different companies.over the past 2 years in preparation of fulfilling my dream of putting a small retirement home on my land in western Loudoun County. Jeremiah, Quentin, and Factory Expo are so far ahead of the other companies, who often made me feel like they were doing me a favor and often not responsive to calls/emails and not nearly as concerned or respectful of my budget. Jeremiah and Quentin are in a class of their own.

You may think buying directly from a factory would be a scary concept, at least we did. However, that misconception couldn’t be further from the truth! Our first contact, Justyn, not only answered all of our questions and concerns but encouraged us to come to the factory to see for ourselves the quality and professionalism they have. Do not let the appealing prices deter you from thinking too good to be true! Far from it! In reality, dealing with a “middle” guy only to get paid for work they make you do any way …trust me save yourself the headache, heartache and your wallet! We went to the factory took a tour and saw first hand how our new home will be built step by step, giving you the opportunity to ask questions you didn’t even know you had! Then you get to not only see all the different styles, colors and options but you get a break down price for each option right then! No excuses of “I need to call the factory to see if they can do that or I don’t know the price of that item” or worse …won’t give you the prices! Every step of the way we knew all the prices up front so we could add or delete to give us the most for our budget. And honestly, between you and me, what I saved going factory direct NEVER did I dream I would get all the extras in my budget but I was able to add even more! And then you know that saying “time is money”? The amount of time I saved going direct - unbelievable! As you can see, I am a very happy camper!!! Do yourself a favor, I encourage you, call up - ask questions better yet schedule a tour… can’t hurt but it certainly may actually put you into your dream home! Everyone on staff and I mean everyone we spoke to…. very friendly, extremely knowledgeable but most importantly we felt they had our best interest in mind at all times!

Factory Expo has been the best experience with first time home buyers that I've ever had! I've been all over the place searching for the perfect home. And I hit the jack pot with Factory Expo! They are absolutely hands down the best deal around! I came all the way from North Carolina to buy a home from them and it was at least 10,000 dollars cheaper than any other place I've looked at. Ruth was so good to us the whole way through the process. She gave us a very informative tour of the Factory where they actually build these amazing homes. Robert was friendly and informative. We went there to find out about manufactured homes and the buying and building process. We do not know anyone who has bought a manufactured home or lives in one so we knew nothing. Robert was patient and answered all of our questions. He spent a good amount of time explaining the process and showing us the model homes. Robert also told us we can contact him if had any more questions. We are definitely going to go back to him if that is the direction we go in for our new home. The model homes were stunning but I do wish they had a bigger double wide for us to tour. The only reason I am writing this review is basically for Crystal Oakman. My son originally worked with someone else and they are no longer with that company for whatever reason. My son started looking and talking to this company in November 2019. We are still working with a Bank which isn't going too great and is extremely slow. The main persons we have talked to are Crystal and the Manager. The manager has been nice and responsive. Here recently I am always able to reach Crystal either immediately or via a call back or with emails. We are having some insurance issue with the bank and Crystal has been extremely helpful in mediating between me, the bank, and others. The house he picked is a nice home and the price in comparison to our local ones was so great that he picked this company. I do recommend Factory Expo regardless of all the issues with the bank that hinder the this build and working with Factory Expo.

Then the phone calls began. I must have called 3 to 4 times a week with questions and worries and just plain confirmation that this was a good idea.
